"Black Diamonds"

A portrait  of the new black South African middle class. Multimillionaire Felicia is an entrepreneur, works and lives in South-Africa and the USA. She's a role model for many young people, a black girl from Soweto, who made her dream come true. Millionaire Richard has assimilated and lives in a mainly white fenced suburb. By using the Governments' policy of "affirmative action" he has become a wealthy businessman of distinction. Real-estate millionaire Vusi started as a street vendor and prefers to stay and live in Soweto. The new privileged class of South-Africa.   VPRO - 50 minutes

"Dual & Central"

Since a couple of years the school for the Royal Dutch Military Police has adopted competence-based education. This documentary focuses on their start-up problems. We talk to all the people involved, the teachers, the students and the companions, in order to find out what details still could be improved.

"Sand or Water"

A DVD promoting the army course “Peace and Security”. In this documentary we follow a number of young people during this one year training. We we see them see them experience the hardship and gradually transforming into real soldiers. Towards the end the last question remains. What will it be: Army od navy…? Sand or Water..?!

"the Teachres are Changing"

The latest changes in vocational education have a very strong impact on the profession of teaching. This 6-part documentary series tries to support all teachers in their professional development. By learning from each other in all their new roles, the coach, developer, specialist, companion, team player…

"Learning on Wheels"

A documentary about a very special kind of education. Learning on Wheels follows a class of miss Petra when she provides basic education for children who’s parents are working on the fair.  Every week another teacher and other classmates, absolutely not an ordinary school.

"the Water Factory"

The King William I college in ‘s Hertogenbosch has set up a real water producing plant inside the school grounds. Teachers and experts of the Heineken brewery accompany the students with their new form of education. This documentary looks into the details.

"Can't buy me Love"

A reality show in which five men and six women are being locked up in a beautiful villa. The one who still has no partner after seven days, must leave and two new bachelors will enter. These newcomers can be female but the competition can also be male! Which couple will win and who will end up 100.000 Euro’s richer..?!

"Do you know?!"

A DVD promoting the Arentheem College in Arnhem. This programme was handed out during the opening festivities of their new accommodation and offers an insight into the various vocational training they offer.

"The Golden Cage"

A long running TV show in which ten people are being imprisoned in a luxury country house. The person who can holds on the longest AND wins the endgame, will leave the villa as a millionaire. A “soap with real people” which ran successfully for more than 18 months...

"Masters of Teaching"

A DVD containing a documentary about new developments in Dutch vocational training. (Various versions)

"the New School"

A DVD to promote one of the most colourful schools in Brabant. An elementary school in which not only the children are more than welcome, but also their parents and other adults. Because the school offers many extra facilities such as a library, sporting fields and other multifunctional rooms.

"Beautiful"

A reality show in which a team of experts treat a number of Belgium people, all very unhappy with their appearances. Their clothing, make up and also physical appearances are changed, sometimes dramatically. Eventually they all step into the limelight again, proud and with a brand new dazzling look…

"Let me Fly"

This DVD tries to provide an insight into the world of a 16 year old schoolgirl of Turkish descent, Sengul. Her special problems in Dutch society which lead to loneliness, depression and eventually to suicidal behavior.

"Chilling with the Army"

A DVD promoting an adventurous job with the Royal Netherlands Army.  In this series of docu-clips we follow a group of 300 new young faces during their first days of training. Portraits of seven different vocations provide additional information about this "Year of Orientation". One of the boys plays a central role, because he "beat boxes" a human sound-score for this special production.

 

"Beautiful"

Some episodes of this popular Belgian television programme in which people undergo an real "extreme make-over".

"Experience"

Two eight-minutes "clips" starring Daan Schuurmans and Jennifer Hoffman. The two actors getting their first taste of warfare.

"Professionals"

Two separate programs about one topic: the LO sporting organization of the Royal Netherlands Army. An "adventurous" program about the efforts made to bring the condition of each military man up to the level necessary for deployment abroad. A short clip presenting this special department to commanders and a longer version for the recruitment of personnel.

"Joyride"

A feature film with Georgina Verbaan, Tygo Gernandt, Peggy Vrijens, Dorien Haan en Don Clovis about three young girls who kidnap a handsome young man and drive him to the south of France. A road movie about the dark side of girl power.

"FGBADS"

A short clip presenting a new "Future Ground Based Air Defense System" to the international press and a special committee of the Dutch parliament.

"A Global Mission"

A promotional corporate film that offers an overview of the new global mission of the Royal Dutch Navy and its many specialized units. The film portrays an impressive, modern, and expeditionary navy that can be deployed all over the world in a rapid and professional manner.

"Water for Brabant"

A seemingly boring subject packaged in a strikingly modern and trendy way. A corporate image film in which the new face and the new website of the Water Supply Authority in Brabant is presented to its clientele.

"To Germany for the Army"

An informational program for Dutch army personnel who are going to be stationed in Germany. About living and working in another country.

"Connected"

A short dynamic clip introducing the Dutch army signal service and their specialized jobs in all climates all over the world, the Command Support group.

"Peace Operations"

A highly stylized presentation in which Umberto Tan presents the latest publication of the army doctrines concerning peace missions.

 

"At your service"

 Thirteen “commercials” visualizing the invisible services which support all the different forces.

"Bite the Bullet"

A short sketch of the difficulties and exhaustions a group of young recruits encounter while getting through their first military training.

"Connected pl@net"

Three short clips visualizing different high tech future developments in Philips communications.

"Salina's park"

The quite atmosphere of a luxury apartment at the Portuguese Algarve.

"Security Blues"

An “inmate” introduces a new computerized security system that will be implemented in all Dutch barracks.

"An active brigade"

In this short clip a young wife of a Dutch soldier tells all about her life abroad and her husbands job: Working for the Netherlands Army in Germany. The 41st mechanical Brigade.

“HOM 2000”

Short clip about the Dutch initiative concerning a world-wide project of clearing landmines. Produced for the summit in Zimbabwe.

"Mission UNDO"

An interactive single play, concerning the ethics of warfare. An educational CD-ROM about international humanitarian rights for Army personnel.

"Kibowi"

A presentation of a war game simulator for staff personnel of the Royal Army.

"Culinary art"

Three short clips visualising “not-yet-existing” Philips kitchen appliances for simultaneous showing (on one soundtrack) at an international design conference.

"The Falcon symphony"

A promotional documentary about a special branch of the Royal Army: the airmobile brigade. A visual story seen through the eyes of a falcon, the symbol of this special group of soldiers.

"Employer support"

Two short clips to support a conference about this subject.

"Across the Border"

An informational program for Dutch army personnel who are going to be stationed in Germany. About living and working in another country.

"from Holland with love"

A presentation, in “007-style”, where Mr Q presents the “Multiple Launch Rocket System” of the Royal Netherlands Army.

An “emotional” instruction film for Dutch army personnel on the do’s and don’ts during Nuclear-, Chemical- or Biological attacks.

A short promo to introduce the new Dutch telecom Internet service.

Film about the Royal Military School, introducing the institute to new NCO’s.

"for a Bowl of Rice..."

An international documentary series about the various craftsmen of Asia, about the people who keep their trades and arts alive and pass this unique heritage on to their children.

"a School in the garden..."

A television documentary about the attempts of the Malaysian government to increase their school youths’ awareness for the natural environment. An initiative of the New Straits Times.

"When the smoke has lifted"

A promotional documentary about the Dutch Army Museum in Delft. A small boy gets lost in the museum after closing time and receives a tour by the original founder of this place exploring the military history of the Netherlands.

"Columbus' number"

A presentation of a new service provided by the Dutch telecom: a personal number that is no longer attached to a place but to a person. Different performances all played by one actor: Hans Kesting.

"Vision of the Future"

Three commercials for “not-yet-existing” Philips appliances and tools, to illustrate their function on a permanent exhibition in the “Evoluon” at Eindhoven. Micro-electronics as a personal assistant, as airport-rentals or as children’s toys.

"a Sorcerer's Apprentice"

Promotional production for the Royal Dutch Armed Forces intended to procure a foreign market for a surplus of DAF heavy recovery vehicles.

"On Land, at Sea and in the Air"

Corporate Image film for the Geo Group, a unit of the Grondmij Surveying Company. A musical documentary, portraying the many aspects of "measuring" and "mapping" every possible part of the Netherlands.

"EAST about EAST"

Promotional film, documentary style, on the occasion of the first broadcasts of the regional television station "TV EAST."

"Meta and Mister Right"

Introductory discussion film, intended for new students at the Training school for Doctor's Receptionists, for the O & O Foundation. Dramatised "romantic novelette" in which various problems need to be solved.

"the Art of Integration"

Dramatised product presentation for Philips I&E, about the possibilities of Philips' integrated means of communication.

"MCDONALDS, on the Way"

Corporate Image production for McDonalds Holland -- a partly dramatised impression of an international fast food chain, without commentary.

"Business to Business"

Corporate film -- highly stylised, motivational production intended for the personnel of PTT Post (Dutch Post Offices), on the occasion of the birth of the PTT Business Courier Service.

"Building on Information"

Dramatised visual supplement to the commercial start of a national data-network, for the Society of Building Contractors of the Sout­hern Netherlands. Starring Jules Hamel.

"An electrical storm"

Educational documentary about epilepsy for the Dutch Epilepsy Fund, intended for patients and their parents, who encounter the disease for the very first time.

"Dordrecht"

A filmic portrait of a dynamic community -- an associative impression of the town of Dordrecht, without commentary, to promote the establishment of businesses and industries.

"JOHMA commercial"

Enhancement of a prior commercial by order of Johma and the Cream Advertising Agency.

"PHILIPS corporate commercial"

60-second, documentary style, commercial for the RTL 4 Broadcasting Company.

"Reflections"

Anniversary film for Berenschot Business Advisors -- a portrait of the company, in which Adriaan van Dis interviews its president on the philosophy and ethics of business advising. Premiered during the Gala Anniversary Celebration at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

"KLM the reliable Airline"

Three-minute, documentary style, commercial for Royal Dutch Airlines.
